Tbilisi is not only the capital of Georgia, but is also considered the largest city in this state. The country, located at the intersection of Europe and Asia, has always been a tidbit and object of desire for the powerful empires surrounding it. This, in turn, led to a complicated and eventful history that was reflected in everything, and especially in the amazing, diverse architecture, culture and character of the Georgian people.
