18 scary snapshots of protests in France

In France, protests against the adoption of a new labor reform are still ongoing. A huge number of local residents have been taking to the streets for several months to demonstrate their extreme dissatisfaction with the government’s decision regarding increased working hours and other innovations.

However, the French government intends to adopt amendments to the law, bypassing the stage of discussion and voting in the lower house of parliament. In the event that the Cabinet of Ministers does not decide to pass a vote of no confidence, the new reform will automatically enter into force and will be considered adopted. However, thousands of dissent are not going to retreat, they are ready to continue to organize protests against such unpopular measures.

Protesters believe the reform is undemocratic and accuse Prime Minister Manuel Waltz of intending to impose a new labor law on the country's citizens.
