Aerial photographs of Damas Rusli: the brightness and symmetry of the world through the eyes of an architect

After leaving his native Indonesia and moving to Australia, the architect Demas Rusli accidentally discovered his vocation - aerial photography. It all started with the fact that his brother, working as a professional photographer, needed help in one of the shootings. Then Demas first picked up the camera and took his first photo. What was happening took him so much that within a few days he went to the store and acquired his own tool.

After years of self-study, the Indonesian began to take masterpiece shots that were breathtaking. His special love is aerial photography. During his travels in Australia, he is accompanied everywhere by a drone, thanks to which Demas manages to capture the bizarre urban jungle and amazing natural landscapes. Architectural activity has brought its special imprint to the work of the photographer. Rusli himself often admits that he is unusually inspired by symmetry and clear geometric lines, and for scale he likes to put a person in the frame.
