In Norway, the photographer captured the youngest of the rarest snow-white deer

Recently, photographer Mads Nordsveen was lucky to capture a rare animal - a young snow-white deer. A meeting with this amazing creature, which appeared as if from a wonderful Christmas tale, took place in Oslo, Norway.

"I walked in the mountains in search of beautiful scenery for my travel photography when this wonderful little creature appeared out of nowhere."- says the 24-year-old photographer.

Despite the fact that the animal was perfectly masked against a winter background, it did not try to hide or run away at all. Tiny even posed a little in front of the lens Nordsveena.

"He came very close to me and we looked into each other's eyes. After a few minutes, the mother of the newborn fawn came out from the trees. For several minutes he walked around me until he returned to his mother. It was an incredibly magical and fabulous moment.".

White reindeer have an unusual genetic mutation that excludes pigment so that they can merge with the snowy habitat. Unlike albinos, dark pigmentation of the cornea of the eye and horns remains.

This is not the first time Mads Nordsveen has been personally lucky to meet rare animals. He had previously encountered lynxes and wolves in Northern Norway.
