The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort opens in October 2018

Marriott International announces the upcoming opening of Westin Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives with the first Westin Maldives Miriandhoo resort in October 2018. Designed by Belluna Co. Ltd (Japan) and Asia Capital PLC (Sri Lanka), The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort will embody the Westin brand's healthy lifestyle philosophy in the Maldives.

The hotel has three restaurants and a rooftop bar. The concept of the main restaurant, Kitchen Island, open all day, is based on one of Westin's six healthy eating principles through a well-thought-out menu combining Chinese, Indian and Maldivian cuisines. The Pearl Restaurant is the resort's signature restaurant, an ideal place to enjoy exquisite Japanese cuisine in an elegant setting with unique ocean views. Hawker Restaurant & Bar serves authentic Asian cuisine in a casual atmosphere with an open kitchen. The Sunset Bar is a lounge bar serving snacks with fantastic cocktails made by talented bartenders.

The resort also has a branded SPA-center - The Heavenly Spa by Westin ™, a fitness center with 24-hour access WestinWORKOUT®, and the Westin Kids Club® kids club.
