I, like many of you, see a huge number of “burn-in” posts about the “Victory” flight, so I decided to write this short post about how I personally manage to fly them without problems and scandals and what I have to do to do this.

In fact, there are only a few steps, but all of them are extremely important, because it is precisely because of their absence that the lion's share of scandals and indignation arises.

Point 1. Carefully read the ticket that comes to you in the mail after purchase. You will be surprised, but the company there prescribes 90% of what causes scandals. I repeat: ATTENTIVELY.

By and large, the remaining items come from point one, and you just need to organize your flight based on what you read: pre-pay baggage, extra carry-on baggage or weight, if any, pre-select and pay for a seat if you want to sit next to it , pre-order food, if you cannot travel without food, or take it with you (no one forbids!), do not be late for registration, do not be late for boarding even for a minute. All. And calmly fly to your destination "Victory", as I do for the eleventh time.

Here is my Victory ticket today, on which I fly my first flight to a new airline to Leipzig.

The first part contains all the necessary data for booking management and registration, the second - the very rules that you must read.

In the first part, we draw attention to the list of additional services already included in the ticket: baggage, hand luggage, availability of a pre-ordered seat (you can immediately check it out at the time of purchase). At the top there is a reservation code. In my case, this is OPQY3U. By entering it on the airline’s website, you can order additional services (each ticket of each airline has its own unique PNR code).

Now we carefully read the second part of the ticket, where I emphasized in red the most problematic ones, based on angry publications on social networks, the moments that cause most of the conflicts.

1. Deadline for registration and boarding times. Do not be late even for a minute! Nobody will go to meet you, even if it’s a minute, and it will be useless to curse the AK, you yourself are late, and not they.

2. Weigh your baggage in advance and measure your hand luggage, so as not to get into a situation where you are sent from the reception to surcharge extra. IMPORTANT! The place of hand luggage does not include the items listed in paragraph 135 of FAP-82, namely:

- a backpack, the weight and dimensions of which are established by the rules of the carrier, or a woman’s bag, or a briefcase with things put in a backpack, or a bag, or a briefcase;

- bouquet of flowers;

- outerwear;

- baby food for the child during the flight;

- a suit in a portlet;

- a device for carrying a child (a cradle, restraint systems (devices) for children up to two years old, a baby carriage and other devices) when transporting a child, the dimensions of which are established by the rules of the carrier, and allow you to safely place them in the aircraft cabin on a shelf above the passenger seat either under the seat in front of the standing passenger seat;

- drugs, special dietary requirements in the amount necessary for the duration of the flight;

- crutches, canes, walkers, rollators, a folding wheelchair used by the passenger and having dimensions that allow them to be safely placed in the aircraft cabin on a shelf above the passenger seat or under the seat in front of the passenger seat;

- goods purchased in duty-free shops at the airport, packaged in a sealed (sealed) plastic bag, the weight and dimensions of which are established by the rules of the carrier.

And as for the cradle, strollers, crutches, strollers, etc. the ticket states separately that they are not measured.

3. The principle of the appointment of seats in the cabin. Or buy in advance, or as the system appoints. Transplanting is prohibited.
