Mission to Mars - abandoned greenhouses in Germany

In western Germany there is an abandonment, widely known in the circles of the European urbex community under the name "Mission to Mars." People come there to hang out and take a picture - the atmosphere is quite pleasant and easy-going, and the interiors are unexpected. In addition, the walls of this object are not disfigured by graffiti, which is strange in itself (according to personal impressions and reports from European castings, there was a feeling that they painted everything and everything, sometimes without even waiting for casting).

Going to the New Year’s Eurotrip, we didn’t especially plan to climb and scooped up a sea of museums and all kinds of cultural nishtyaks, but the comrades suddenly shared a map from their autumn trip, in which a certain amount of “pleasant free stuff” was discovered. Among other things, there were these greenhouses.

Once in place, the first thing I did was lift my new toy, the drone, into the air and take a few shots from the air. They came out a little more detailed than googlemaps :) In the photos from the drone, everything turns out to be some kind of toy, as if a layout.

These greenhouses are located near a nursing home located in a former monastery and were probably previously used for growing potted plants by guests of this institution. They are connected to each other in groups of 3-5 pieces, only the dome stands in which the boiler room is hidden.

Thus, having found the gap in one of the domes, you get immediately to the neighboring ones.

The situation is very peaceful, around the greenhouses grow bushes and all sorts of conifers, there are benches and even a place for a fire.

The lawn looks trimmed, and in general, it is not very clear why a fence and a locked gate are needed - a great place to rest.

From ground level, greenhouses look less orderly than from air.

The paths are paved with tiles, you feel like in a botanical garden.

A strange botanical garden without visitors :)

You can climb into most buildings.

A boiler room is arranged in one of the domes, there is no hole in it, but there is a hole.

Through the hole you can put the camera in and take a frame :)

Nearby there is a pair of standard glass greenhouses, inside of which everything is the same as in our Russian ones (it would be strange to see something else there, heh).

Well, in the polyhedron greenhouses, you can climb into and enjoy the non-standard configuration of the surrounding space.

Once all this was connected to a water supply for heating and watering.

Cool object, in general.

I really liked it :)

And even rainy weather to this object to face :)
