In anticipation of Christmas Banksy made a new drawing near the temple in Bethlehem

The famous British street artist Banksy creates in different countries of the world and uses a variety of objects in his work. Apparently, its current location is Palestine. The last drawing, made on Palestinian territory and bearing a vivid political character, was not without festive motives.

For a long time, Banksy created minimalistic but powerful images along the barrier separating Israel from the West Bank, controlled by Palestine. Recently, the elusive artist presented his new, extraordinary graffiti in Bethlehem - a very symbolic place in the context of the coming Christmas. The work is called "Alternative."

The first half of the installation is located near the Milk Grotto Church. She explores the meaning of "peace" in the modern world. The second part depicts two angels trying to get through the "great wall."

Recall that at the beginning of this year, Banksy took a bold step by opening The Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem, a hybrid of exposure and hostel, designed to withstand segregation between Israelis and Palestinians.
