City of the future: 9 images of a futuristic metropolis presented in the UAE

Architects from the Italian company Luca Curci Architects presented to the world their project of an amazing futuristic city for the UAE. The images show five buildings built on land and five "moon" buildings on the sea.

The authors of the project claim that their goal is to create "a common place where people can live, meet, learn, work, socialize and create new mixed cultures." All aspects of ground structures, similar to a hive, are connected by various streets and parks located at different levels. And their continuation - "lunar" buildings - overlooks the ocean.

This delightful layout represents a city of 372 square meters. miles, which can accommodate more than 150,000 residents. It provides residences, hotels, offices, shops and health centers.

Of course, at the moment it is difficult to imagine this city in reality. It looks more like places from science fiction films about the distant future, but progress is moving at such a pace that it is likely that our children or grandchildren will be able to live and create in such a city.
