Closed Turkey: what does a resort village turn into when there are no Russians

Now that all progressive humanity is packing its bags in Crimea, I decided to recall how wonderful it was without Russians in Turkey last summer. If anyone does not remember, exactly a year ago I flew by self-propelled to Turkey, when it was still closed to tourists from Russia. Everything happened to me there, but today I want to show what Turkey turns into if the Russians do not come there.

And so, it was last summer, despite the prohibitions on selling tours to Turkey, I bought tickets myself, booked a hotel and went there for a month. And all would be fine, but it was terrible to look at empty hotels that simply did not open. So that you understand, out of ten hotels on our beach, 4 were closed, and the rest were under 80% load in high season.

The hotels are mothballed, and it seems to me that they did not start working last season, despite the fact that the Russians opened the exit. I climbed over the fence of one of the hotels and just pofotkal so that you understand what the hotel turns into, if you do not follow it for some six months.

It was painful for me to look at all this, I did not know that everything could decline so quickly, and began to understand why the Turks were so happy to welcome the lifting of the ban on the entry of Russians into Turkey. And this year I'm going to fly there again, but they say that now all the hotels are filled to capacity and now there is a completely different picture.
