Bobruisk

If it were not for the well-known verbal Internet stamp “F Babruysk!”, I would hardly have gone here.

Beavers in Bobruisk on each fence.

On each.

Beaver here has become a real symbol, it is used here in the design of everything, especially in advertising.

Bobruisk is the fifth largest city in the country.

But the atmosphere here is completely provincial.

Bobruisk landscapes and architecture.

This building is one of the most stunning sights of the city. Previously, there was a management of a house-building plant, but now it is a hostel. Let's go inside.

We get into the most ordinary lobby with a large arched door opposite the entrance.

On the walls hang instructions for the rosary.

We open a large door, and there is a real neo-Gothic Catholic church!

And then we leave the building, go around it and are surprised.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1901, and already closed in 1935. Later, the church tower was demolished and an administrative building was built instead. In 1989, the temple was returned to the Catholic parish.

A church with a five-story dormitory - this is possible only in the post-Soviet space.

There is a fortress among Bobruisk historical attractions, but it is in such a state that it no longer causes any interest. Ordinary brick ruins in a wasteland.

The city is clean and tidy. It is everywhere in Belarus.

As soon as wedding halls in different cities are not called!

Bobruisk City Hall of Fame.

The honor board is very unusual: out of four dozen tablets there is not one that would be dedicated to an individual. Persons are exclusively legal.

Ordinary Bobruisk yard.

A road sign and a sign not yet found in Russia. A “black mark” is placed in those areas where accidents often occur with victims.

Here is such a Bobruisk!
