Second rubber life

Walking around the market in Zanzibar, I discovered an interesting thing - shales made of tires. If in Russia old automobile rubber is used to create "small architectural forms" and garden decorations, then Tanzania has its own, more applied tradition. Slippers, I must say, are good and very popular among locals and tourists.

By the way, the Korean god Ji Yong Ho, who collects fantastic animals and mythical characters from old tires, is considered to be the god of tires. At the auction, one of his sculptures went for $ 150,000. This I understand - profitable processing!
