The inhabitants of this island have not let anyone into their land for thousands of years.

The inhabitants of the North Sentinel Island in the Indian Ocean have been isolated from the world since time immemorial: they meet with arrows all who try to get to the island, and live as if in the courtyard of the Stone Age. The islanders defend their distinctive culture, which must be destroyed, it is worth the natives of Northern Sentinel to join the benefits of civilization.

Northern Sentinel Island (also called Northern Sentinel) - a small, 72 square meters. km, and no more than 400 people live there. In August 1981, the Primrose ship ran aground off its coast. The natives were very aggressive, threw spears at people and shot from bows. Fortunately, the ship was too far from the coast, and no one was hurt. The crew was evacuated by helicopter, and the Primrose remained abandoned.

Several times, scientists tried to make contact with the islanders: they brought gifts, smiled with all their might and bowed greetingly. But the natives showed only contemptuous indifference or threatened with spears.

In 1991, an Indian scientist suddenly managed to get the attention of adamant Aboriginal people. "Dear" to the heart were ... red plastic buckets. For several years, the islanders took the buckets left on the shore, but refused to communicate and did not come close to the scientists. From their cries, anthropologists realized that the Sentinelians speak a language that is not at all like the other Andaman, and concluded that they live in isolation from time immemorial.

And then it stopped: the Sentinels began to shoot at helicopters and ships from bows. In 2006, a tragedy occurred: they killed two unfortunate fishermen whose boat skidded on the island weatherproof.

Officially, the island is controlled by India, but the government said it would not interfere in the life of the islanders: God bless them, let them live as they want. They are even guarded and tourists are not allowed to land ashore. Firstly, it is dangerous, and secondly, the natives do not have immunity against our diseases, they can be killed by a simple cold.

Although the natives are not a bit interested in the outside world, they do not cease to excite our imagination. How do they live there in their tiny universe, and what do they think of the world around them?
