Increased Density: Super-Haunted House on Ginza Alley in Japan

In one of the many lanes of the Ginza region of Japan, there is a plot of land in the form of the letter L. For three years, this territory of modest size remained free. A plot only 2.7 meters wide hid in the shadow of tall buildings erected around it. But even this seemingly unfit piece of land turned out to be a tidbit for the developer in crowded Japan.

Together with one of the architectural bureaus of Japan, the developer decided to create one of the narrowest buildings in the district. Due to the enormous space limitations, architects faced a number of specific limitations. They should have left enough space for scaffolding and could not place heavy equipment on the site, so most of the work had to be done manually.

But the result of the labors, as is often the case in Japan, was overwhelming. Architects were able to create a minimalistic and elegant four-story building, which now stands out like a gem against a huge number of gray, inconspicuous office buildings.
