Stunning African wildlife close-up: 15 breathtaking pics

10 years ago, British Will Barrard-Lucas, specializing in wildlife photography, was in search of unique prospects for shooting in the vastness of Africa. Coming up with how to get close to animals, but at the same time ensure his and their safety, he developed BeetleCam. Today, a decade later, these devices with SLR or mirrorless cameras on a remote control are an integral part of a photographer’s journey. Over the years, Barrard-Lucas has been able to improve his creation, protecting the body from predators, and using it to take stunning pictures of elephants, lions, leopards and many other representatives of the fauna.

With his invention, the photographer traveled to Tanzania, Zambia and Kenya, taking unforgettable shots as close as possible. Now BeetleCam is not just a makeshift assistant for one photographer, but a whole successful business helping other wildlife photographers around the world realize their wildest ideas.
