Mysterious multi-colored sands, the pattern of which cannot be broken by either wind or rain

On our vast planet there are still many corners where miracles take place, which are not always easy or possible to explain. So, in the waters of the Indian Ocean there is a beautiful island of Mauritius, one of the villages of which is ready to surprise its guests with real magic of nature. It is called Chamarel. In addition to the picturesque rainforests and magnificent waterfalls, you can also see unique colored dunes. This place arose as a result of decomposition of volcanic rocks and is filled with grains of sand of a wide variety of colors. Different temperature conditions led to the fact that iron oxide painted local sand in shades of red, and aluminum gave blue and green. In total, these breeds have over 20 shades.

No matter how strange it may sound, even tropical heavy rains do not affect the color dunes. Sands are located in different layers, and no force of wind, water and other natural phenomena can mix them. Geologists and scientists still have to solve this mystery, while there are still more questions than answers. Just imagine, even if you intentionally mix sand grains, in a few days they will again take their former places.

Of course, this marvelous rainbow park is protected, because a huge number of people from all over the world come to admire the local natural feature. Among the sand splendor, special paths have been created for people along which they can climb to the observation deck. Here, the sun's rays in all its glory reveal the play of light of an amazing natural creation. Painted in all the colors of the rainbow, the earth is perhaps one of the most marvelous locations on our planet. And you can even take a part of it home by buying a souvenir island souvenir - a container with local “magic” soil.
