Frightening and mesmerizing wooden sculptures in which people are stuck

Human genius and talent knows no bounds, and admiring his creations is always a special delight. Works of art made by human hands simply cannot but be admired, especially if it is the work of a gifted and enthusiastic person, and his hands are truly golden. Creative individuals realize their inspiration in a variety of ways. Someone splashes it on the canvas, someone uses plaster, metal, stone, wax, and there are those who prefer to create from wood. One of them is our story today.

Taiwanese 39-year-old master Tung Ming-Chin is a special artist, and his creations stand out among others, always being recognizable. The fact is that Ming Chin, like a psychologist, is trying to deal with the topic of internal emotions, and reflects his conclusions regarding the subtle play of the conscious and unconscious in wooden sculptures. When you look at his creations, it seems that the tree is just a thin shell from which people are trying hard to break out. It’s just not destined to break through - space is much more elastic.

In particular, his works cause an analogy with a psychological prison and may seem creepy to many, but in fact, the art of an artist from Taiwan can be interpreted in completely different ways. He himself admits that during the work he seeks to create his sculptures surreal, without reference to any persons or culture, so that they do not have a nationality and can be presented to spectators of various nations and traditions.

For his unsurpassed skill in the artistic processing of wood, Ming-Chin won ten international awards. We will also get acquainted with his amazing sculptures, in which people and objects seemed to be stuck!
